What's on, my Ansome?
The summer holiday season is here! As you'd expect, there is always loads on down here in Cornwall to enjoy throughout the season. But you might be wondering about the best way to spend your money and time this holiday!
We've seen and done it all down here, and we're more than happy to share our recommendations for the best events on this summer around Roselidden and in Cornwall in general!
You're sure to find something here that'll do a proper job for you and your family so let's crack on!
1. Go Wild with the Beano at the Eden Project! - Click here for more info
When - July 23 to September 4, 2022
Where - Eden Project, Bodelva, Cornwall
The Eden Project is one of the most famous attractions anywhere in the county. A fantastic botanical garden project featuring thousands of plant species in three different biomes, this summer they're teaming with the legendary British comic institute the Beano to host an event that will be fun for all the family!
You'll be able to enjoy a fantastic interactive adventure hunting down the monstrous CO2-Zilla and learn a lot about the environment while you do.
All visits to the Eden project must be booked in advance so make sure you plan ahead if you want to go!
2. Circus Funtasia - Click here for more info
When - July 7 to September 10, 2022
Where - All around Cornwall, but here in Helston from the 28th of July to the 7th of August!]
One of the premier circus experiences anywhere in the U.K today, this summer is a fantastic opportunity for you and your family to see Circus Funtasia live!
From aerialists to fire breathers, motorbike acts to comedians, and more, there's sure to be something for everyone in your family to enjoy.
If you're lucky you'll be able to visit them when they're here in Helston!

When - July 24 to September 5, 2022
Where - National Maritime Museum, Falmouth, Cornwall
The Maritime Museum in Falmouth is already an amazing place to go to learn about the seafaring history here in Cornwall. And this summer they're stepping it up by putting on a great interactive theatre experience!
Sea Monsters aren't real...are they? Surely not! But if you visit the museum you're going to meet people who have seen them out here in Cornwall...or so they say.
It'll be up to you to decide if the monsters really exist or not!
4. Falmouth Week - Click here for more info
When - August 5 to August 14, 2022
Where - Falmouth, Cornwall
There are regatta events held all around the county in the summer months, but Falmouth week has a special place in our family!
We've been taking part in the festivities for years now and can't recommend it enough. Every day during the week there are multiple different events for you to get into. Live music shows, themed party nights, pick your fancy!
Just don't be a wimp and make sure you rock up in a costume! (You might even win a prize)
5. Boardmasters Festival - Click here for more info
When - August 10 to August 14, 2022
Where - Fistral Beach, Newquay, Cornwall
This one has a short window of time but if you're down here when it's on and you're into your music or surfing, you won't want to miss this one!
With a lineup boasting some of the biggest names in music today and some of the world's top pro surfers set to compete, Boardmasters is a massive festival and a great way to spend a day or a weekend.
Go out and enjoy the music, take a surf lesson or anything else you fancy!
Day tickets are still available so if you're here during the event, book asap!
So go out and have fun!
